I’m a proud mom of two gorgeous girls who are the light of my life. Though distance separates us physically — with me living in Canada and them overseas — our bond remains unshakably strong. Every moment I spend with them is sacred, and every decision I make is guided by one clear desire: to be more present in their lives.
For years, I’ve built a successful full-time career, climbing ladders, meeting deadlines, and doing the work that helped shape the woman I am today. I’m deeply proud of all I’ve accomplished, but life has a way of whispering when it’s time to pivot. And I’ve been listening.
I’m now at a beautiful crossroads. As an online digital marketer, I’ve carved out a new path — one that gives me the freedom to earn a living from anywhere in the world. This means I no longer have to choose between my career and my family. I can have both. I do have both. And that realization is nothing short of empowering.
I’m seriously considering retirement from the traditional 9-to-5 — not because I want to stop working, but because I want to start living differently. I want to spend slow mornings sipping coffee in new cities, share laughter-filled afternoons with my daughters, and watch sunsets from wherever my heart leads me. I want to be present, joyful, and free.
To live a life where I can hug my girls more often, explore the world, and make money doing what I love? Honestly, who could ask for more?
This isn’t just about work-life balance anymore. It’s about designing a life that aligns with my values, my joy, and my deepest loves. And as I take steps toward this next chapter, I feel both excitement and peace. Because I know I’m finally choosing me — and choosing us.
